Every body is different. The 6-week Know Thyself Nutritional Program teaches you how to identify and eliminate the foods that adversely affect your body. At the same time you will learn what foods work best for you, giving you the vibrant health you need to lead a happy, useful, and productive life.
This is how it works:
1. First meeting - You receive a handbook, clear instructions, food diary, and grocery shopping guidance. Along the way you receive motivation techniques, individual support, buddy support, group support, and a few delightful surprises.
2. First two weeks - You detox by eating only approved foods and eliminating the commonly-reactive foods. (Eliminated foods include soy, citrus, specific nuts & seeds, dairy, gluten, yeast, corn, eggs, sugar, alcohol, tobacco and everything artificial. Don't worry - there are many, many foods you can eat throughout the Program! We will help you every step of the way.)
3. Last four weeks - You reintroduce 9 eliminated foods one-by-one so that you can physically experience and tune into what your body is telling you about each food.
It is a known fact that people often ingest foods and food-related chemicals that their bodies don’t tolerate well adding stress and creating discomfort; this in turn causes issues which result in symptoms. Even healthy foods can cause emotional and physical ailments. Identifying these foods and chemicals, and eliminating them, can positively impact a person’s health and wellness.
Additionally, the communication with your body is all too often disrupted by sensory bombardment, desensitizing quick fixes, drugs, chemicals, and/or over-stimulating foods that can short-circuit your body’s signals. As you go through the program, you will learn how to take a ‘physical inventory’ of your body and listen to what your body is telling you.
